Testimonials

We love Associated Pediatric Dentistry. The providers are superior in caring for children, in addition to giving meticulous instructions and recommendations to parents. I can trust their expertise and know I'm receiving the best care in the area for my child’s dentistry needs.

Erin Hoepfner

Dr. Kevin and the staff are very friendly and know how to help children even if they have special needs/ diagnoses and issues. Thanks to them my child has actually been able to get past his sensory issues with going to the dentist.

Cheryl Fisher

Best dentist I have ever taken my kids to. All the staff are great and made my very scared daughter feel comfortable. No other dentist could get anything done with her, but they were great and got a tooth pulled.

Lolly Collins

Great dentist for kids! Both of my kids have been patients since age 1, and we have seen a variety of dentists in the office. All have been fabulous. The hygienists, dental assistants, and office staff are also wonderful. Highly recommend!

Patsy Alldredge

I have been bringing my children to this practice for many years now. Two of my children have significant special needs. Taking them to the dentist can be challenging due to their needs and also their anxiety towards the visit. The staff at this office is unbelievably accommodating and compassionate and supportive towards our family. They help to make our visit as pleasant as possible.

Elijah Daley

We love Associated Pediatric Dentistry! The doctors and staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. I could go on and on. I recommend this office to everyone, it’s like coming home to a great family.

Lisa Smith

Dr. Rice and the assistant were absolutely amazing with my daughter. She was so nervous and they explained everything to her before starting. They made sure she was always comfortable throughout the procedure and she is all smiles now!

Mallory Hicks

Amazing staff! Treats special needs with care and concern. Would recommend to anyone searching for a dentist that makes your child not dread the dentist.

Jen Hendricks

My kiddo broke off both of her permanent front teeth at school, and APD worked her in immediately. LaTonya and Dr. Tieg were both immensely patient and kind, took their time to do a great job/give a great result, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel like a burden (even though they had other appointments they were navigating between). I was so impressed with both of them and am so thankful we found APD last year.

Laura Worker

We were referred by our family dentist since my little one was far too little for him. Dr. Mara and her staff did amazing at listening to our concerns, answering all our questions, and performing the procedure we needed done! I highly recommend bringing your little people to associated pediatric dentistry!

First Visit

I booked an appointment – now what?
At APD, we want to make your first visit – and every visit – a positive one! It is very important to establish healthy oral habits at an early age for your child. During your child’s first visit, we will review your child’s health history form with you. You’ll be introduced to the friendly and experienced members of our dental team and be invited to tour our office. We welcome and highly encourage you to join your child into the treatment area during the initial examination. This will give you the opportunity to see our staff in action and ask the doctor any questions, voice any concerns or discuss different treatments and care options for your child. For many children, understanding what is going on helps ease any anxiety about the visit.
First Visit

During the examination, the dentist will examine your child’s head and neck and then evaluate the health of his or her teeth, gums and bite. Dental x-rays are taken when necessary, helping us follow your child’s growth, and detect any underlying issues. Our Hygienists do an amazing job of demonstrating and explaining the cleaning process to your child. We want to make this experience a fun one, and this can help put your child at ease. If your child needs any additional services, those are typically scheduled for a later appointment.

Our offices require that a parent or legal guardian accompany your child to the initial appointment. If you are the legal guardian, you may be asked to provide legal proof of guardianship.

Your Appointment

Your Appointment

Once you make an appointment at one of our three convenient locations, that time is exclusively reserved for your child. If, for some reason, your child can no longer make their appointment, please call us with 24 hours’ notice so that we can reschedule the appointment or open the time slot for another child.

Insurance and Payment

We are in-network with the following insurance companies: Delta Dental Premier & Delta Dental PPO, MetLife, United Concordia Fee for Service/Sunlife Financial, Assurant, Cigna PPO, Ameritas, Advantica and some Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. We are also pleased to bill insurance for all of our active-duty military families. We strongly suggest you contact your insurance company prior to making an appointment.

If you have a plan that is not “in-network” we will be happy to bill your insurance, but this is not a guarantee of coverage. You will still be responsible for any “out of network” fees. If you have any further questions or concerns relating to your particular plan, feel free to give us a call. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover, American Express, MasterCard, and CareCredit.
