Meet Our Doctors

Kevin C. Beyersdorfer

D.D.S.

He is known to his patients as Dr. Kevin. One of APD’s originals, Dr. Kevin has been with the practice since 1991. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana and then went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where he also received his degree in Pediatric Dentistry.

Mara Ganim

D.M.D.

Dr. Mara Ganim grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She finished her undergraduate education at Coastal Carolina University outside of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

Christopher Haas

D.M.D.

Dr. Haas grew up in Edwardsville, Illinois, and was a former patient of Associated Pediatric Dentistry. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, and earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. His passion for working with children led him to continue his education specializing in pediatric dentistry at St. Louis University.

Keith Rice

D.D.S.

Dr. Keith Rice grew up outside the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He earned his dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2002. After several years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Rice elected to further his education, completing a two-year residency through Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry.

Tieg Selberg

D.D.S.

Dr. Tieg Selberg is a native of Kansas City. He earned his degree in biology from the University of North Carolina Asheville. After a career in sales, he took the leap to pursue his dream of dentistry, graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Tieg was very active in dental school, participating in outreach programs and a dental mission to Guatemala.

Ken Rawson

D.M.D.

Dr. Ken Rawson was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, then completed an advanced education residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Lauren Berkenbile

D.M.D.

Lauren Berkenbile grew up in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She received her undergraduate education at the University of an Illinois Urbana-Champaign before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. Her dedication to providing specialized care for children and those with special healthcare needs led her to complete her pediatric dentistry residency at Saint Louis University.

Taking them to the dentist can be challenging due to their needs and also their anxiety towards the visit. The staff at this office is unbelievably accommodating and compassionate and supportive towards our family. They help to make our visit as pleasant as possible.

Dr. Rice and the assistant were absolutely amazing with my daughter. She was so nervous and they explained everything to her before starting. They made sure she was always comfortable throughout the procedure and she is all smiles now!

My kiddo broke off both of her permanent front teeth at school, and APD worked her in immediately. LaTonya and Dr. Tieg were both immensely patient and kind, took their time to do a great job/give a great result, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel like a burden (even though they had other appointments they were navigating between). I was so impressed with both of them and am so thankful we found APD last year.

We were referred by our family dentist since my little one was far too little for him. Dr. Mara and her staff did amazing at listening to our concerns, answering all our questions, and performing the procedure we needed done! I highly recommend bringing your little people to associated pediatric dentistry!
