Ken Rawson
D.M.D.
Dr. Ken Rawson was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, then completed an advanced education residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Dr. Rawson is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, St. Clair District Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Rawson currently serves as President Elect of the Illinois State Dental Society and finds it rewarding to work with the 6,600 Illinois member dentists to provide much needed dental care to the patients of our state. Prior to joining Associated Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Rawson served as Section Head of Pediatric Dentistry and Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Rawson’s professional passion has always been providing quality specialty dental care to pediatric patients. To him, there is nothing more fulfilling than helping a child learn to enjoy being at the dentist even when it is necessary to complete complex procedures. Dr. Rawson and his wife, Patrice, have three adult children and one granddaughter. As an avid cyclist, when not treating patients or working with the Illinois State Dental Society, Dr. Rawson can be found on the local bike trails.
